Javanese Dialect and The Acccents


All languages spoken in the world has its own accent and also the dialects for sure. Including Javanese as the one of the local languages spoken in Indonesia. For those who don't know Javanese, so here is the brief explanation this language. So, this language is spoken in Java island of Indonesia especially for the middle Java and East Java. Javanese language itself is also varied into its dialects and accents. You can even point out the people's hometown in Java from their accent for sure. Even they speak Bahasa, you can even point out that they are Javanese tribe. 

You can differentiate the pronunciation of the word /t/ and /d/. The pronunciation of /t/ would be different when Balinese people pronounce it. They would pronounce it bit thicker like /th/. The pronunciation of the consonant /d/ also be different when it is pronounced by Javanese like this would become /dh/. The intonation of the Javanese language for each parts of teh Javanese would be also different. Javanese accent often called medhok and the other accent is also called with ngapak.Those accents are very common in Java areas even they speak Bahasa the intonation of the words or word stressing would be really clear for sure. a
